| The Township Campground One of two Island campgrounds is located on Lake Michigan less than a mile out of the town of St. James. Its long driveway heads north off the Donegal Bay Road right at the second sharp turn, and then loops back to the east at the top of the north shore bluff. There is a pay phone, new toilets, and over a dozen individual campsites. Firewood, picnic tables, and trash receptacles are provided --but register (at the campground) before setting up your tent.
